Time for a rant, prices

The similarities are remarkable. I think you should list that on ebay as a retro gravel bike for £1500 and mention that it's a great bike to go out on a rove on.

I saw this earlier today: 'Gravel goes flat bar'. Perhaps there will be a new wheel size soon, too - around about 26 inches.

If anyone wants a '96 Palisades Trail for the bargain price of £999, give me a shout. ;)

Re:

^^ I saw that too! Totally bonkers. Spool on a year or two and it'll have 40mm of atmospherically-balanced elastomer forks. The flex stem it back (kind of) with steerer suspension now back in vogue.

If anyone need a project Alu-O of the Orange sort, I may be able to get a 19" one if it is still around.
I can charge you good mamey for it.
 If it was a 17" 1st or 2nd gen I'd have bitten your hand off!!

There's definately some stuff out there which leaves you questioning - Surely Not? There's a lot of unsold stuff that keeps getting relisted too with a slight price drop.... Still outrageous for what it is .....hoping someone will take a bite.

On the up side, if you're after some rarity.... Much more is appearing. Not cheap by any means.... But if you've been waiting 2+ years for ..... Dive in. :D (and regret it later!)
