thought i'd give a cancer operation update

well an update to my update is needed,ive just had a chat with my oncologist after my last pet scan i had on saturday.it seems contrary to all probabilities ive had what they call a fekkin hail mary turnaround.he says theres no sign of the pesky hodgkins lymphoma.its gone,vanished,departed,gawn for a long stroll ect.right now im a little shocked ,my stem cell transplant was going to be a last throw of the square things with dots on them for me.this is now for at least another 3 months consigned to the parts bins.i havnt been cured of my non hodgkins sadly but for now im officialy in remission.what ever was out there looking out for me is gunna get a scone and a medium sized cup of tea as a thank you,a very shocked and somewhat happy gibble,56,lives in norfolk and his bike needs a clean
Onwards and upwards. Excellent news.

@gibbleking great news.

i have a check up catscan in a couple of weeks, hopefully nothing shows up on that, basically feel ok, funny twinges in the operation area every now and then but that's it.
Can you take an alternative route avoiding the area? I hate my old school so much I won’t go past it.

Thankfully (touch wood ) I have nothing personal to add to the thread but I’d like to share a little bit of hope for anyone going through this 💩

My mums fella had stage 4 Hodgkins and the outlook wasn’t great initially. He followed the process and has now been 5 years free of it. The first year is seemed to just get worse and worse. But it suddenly turned a corner

Best of luck folks
