mmm don't know if it should be in the pi**ed off thread or here but guess as I won ..it made my day..
Couple of days ago some sneaky virus downloaded itself on my comp as a windows update..was called *Win Disc/win Disk*
Its looks and characteristics can be deceiving, the windows disk malware can pass itself to unsuspecting computer users as a reliable and legitimate computer security tool.It causes annoying pop ups and fake security scans,never attempt to buy the fake windows disk kit that this particular program offers.
Any attempt to remove it using existing antivirus allready on your comp or by program uninstall results in a shut down,it tries to thwart any attempt of removal.
My last attempt succeeded,,I downloaded free AVG 2011 and let it scan(being new the virus did'nt recognise it) and gauge the bloody thing out of my comp,,and after a automatic restart..yeeeeeeaaaaaaaa !!! F U Virus..hopefully seen the last of it,,be warned.
