Totally agree with comment on what other tubes were mixed into 501 framesets, most were main 3 tubes only rest cromo,was more of an excuse to legally put a Reynolds decal on frame,the build quality was often bad, best factory builders would use better guys on better frames,you hardly see custum builders frames in it{waste of man hours into something getting sold for peanuts}

Picked up a Dynatech 500 frame = 2500g for frame and forks. Now have a growing collection of parts, and hopefully a bike soon. Always the risk that it comes unbonded (but if it's lasted 20 years so far!) Build thread to follow.
