The other "HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH" thread for 98

I have a 2013 Pipedream Sirius 853 in dark red with X-Fusion forks and dropper post, XT 2 x 10 drivetrain and 650B Hope/Stans wheels set up tubeless. It has a Hope stem, headset, skewers and hubs, Renthal bar, Specialized saddle and brand new Shimano chain and cassette. It hasn't had an awful lot of use sadly but was stored in a damp shed for a while so has some corrosion in areas, I imagine the fork and dropper post would benefit from a service.

Whats it likely to be worth complete? Wondering whether to sell as I just don't use it or take it apart to store it in the hope my son gets into MTBs when he's older and we can go out together (not that I don't have other bikes, this is my only modern one though).

Going to be pretty tough sell in today's market to be honest. Newer Pipedream frames are only reaching £300 max on eBay and they are boost spaced, thru axle. Spec is very of it's time and (no offence) no much of it is useful for a modern build. Can't see you getting more than £400 for it.

Thanks, about what I thought, it wasn't the most modern kit when it was new cos I'm retro, certainly the standard quick release wheels and 2 x 10 drivetrain makes it seem ancient now. I may disassemble it and put it to the back of the loft for a day when I can use it in anger(ish) again, I did enjoy riding it long ago.

Only issue I can foresee down the line is the forks. I’m assuming the frame has a straight 1 1/8th head tube? Getting decent forks for these is already tough and only going to get worse. Spares to service older forks may also be an issue.

Your frame and hubs would take 11 speed if you wanted to modernise at a later date. Parts for that are getting cheaper all the time.

Its a tapered steerer, and the hub can be converted to bolt through so I’m not worried about that, to be fair the fork is competent enough for what I use it for!

Sorry, I posted this in the wrong forum earlier.
Hello, I am new to the forum and know almost nothing about Retro DH MTBs.
I bought this bike years ago form an US Airman who bought it in Europe.
It has just been sitting in my bedroom collecting dust and it's time for it to find a new owner.
Can anybody tell me what it is, the best way to sell it and what it is worth?
I have studied the internet and know it is about 1999 or so.
The ATX Team logo is a bit unusual.
Thanks for the help.

quick one all, I have a MRP "Mini Me" chain guide from 2005. Designed for dual/4x/dirt jump bikes of the time. Currently has only some bolts (as were most were all corroded) and just the one "plate". Pictures below - thoughs on price? Fairly rare item and in good general "used" condition with original paperwork. Most imporantly, has OG original orange rollers!

Cheers,
Rob

Hard to tell with this era of bike mate, it might be worth doing a thread in members bikes looking for info (rather than a valuation) to get a better idea if it's anything special? It's certainly tidy and with decent parts so will have some value I'd imagine?
