Hi Ian, It's a nice bike, those Marins were really highly rated bitd, I suspect on the open market (Ebay) you'd be be lucky to see £200-250, where as spending that sort of money (better fork, better shock, lighter wheels) on the bike could see it perform as well as a more modern steed which would cost at least £1k.

Thanks for your comments, I was thinking around the £250- £300 mark so not far off from what you have said :) if you where updating the bike what parts would you fit?
Been out of the bike loop for so long I just don't really know what's good or bad etc I don't have a lot of funds at the moment due to not working with a bad back but been told to get on my bike by the doctors! Anyway any help from anyone would be great :) cheers
Ian

Re:

Id say £250.

What is rear shock?

Id buy New deore disc brakes, better forks second hand like rock shox revs and go with that.

They are great bikes. If money is tight just ride it. Looks fine as it is.

Hi there could anyone please help with valuing my GT Bravado. I brought it new in 2000 but I am sure the guy said it was a 1998 model. It's all original only the cable's have been changed since new when it was serviced. It's just sat in my garage as I don't use it anyone.

Cheers Dean

I'd say the GT is probably worth £170-200+ on eBay depending on whether you get a fair wind! It'd be worth more split for parts, but it seems a shame to do that.

Re:

Thanks for that I would like to keep it together it's in fantastic condition.

Cheers Dean

Another GT. '98 lts2000 with a 1000 rear triangle, including coupe deluxe rear shock. Condition appropriate to age and use.. Will get a pic up if it'd help...

Thinking of letting my Dekerf go, I don't get out on it nearly enough.
Splitting it is obvious, but suggestions what I could pitch the full bike for?

Dekerf Team ST 19", Chris King headset & hubs, rebuilt Pace RC36, Thomson post
full XTR 95x gears and brakes, Race Face Next cranks & Deus stem, Easton Monkeylite

In a very good condition, proper rider with normal signs of use. more pictures here:
