Hi, I have a 1996 specialized Rockhopper I am very attached to. I have made a few improvements over the years, including adding a pair of 2006 Manitou R7 platinum suspension forks. Wife's bike needs new forks so was considering giving her my Manitou's (they are disc brake compatible and her bike has discs). I have found a pair of 2004 Rockshox Sid team forks in good nick for a good price, these are only v brake compatible (fine for my bike). My question is are my Manitou's significantly better than the Rockshox, if so I'll keep them and source something else for my wife's bike.
