sunn vertik build

Ok I had a GT frame prior to this but upon removing the paint I found substantial cracks and even splits in the frame and I'm one of those people that if I know it's wrong it will bug me so I couldn't carry on with it .

So! Four hours later after being a bit fussy on the frame I wanted (GT or kona) I stumbled across this frame and after a bit of thought decided to go for it I remember the bikes and don't see them everyday and think with the components I allready have they will look good .




I also polished my manitou forks


And keeping the raceline hs33 think they'll look great against the chrome

Haha I was emailing the guy on eBay about that very frame for a while...it just looks so nice. In the end I went for a '97 Kona Lava Dome in green, and built it up with a total mish-mash of parts (I don't dare to show it on here...) and I love it. I look forward to seeing your Sunn Vertik build come along - good luck!

Thought id throw a few parts on as I now have the frame in my possession I polished the frame befor I did anything I'd forgotten how fiddly the hs33's were to set up !!

I'm not sure about the Maguras does anyone else think the stand out a bit too much ?? I love the brakes themselves but I think on the chrome frame it may be too much opinions welcome I do have some lx v brakes I can put on so may see how that looks
