18in for me.

actually saw a 20in on ebay US once.

First Flight have a lovely 18in '88 in pink/ green.

Think I'd even prefer the 87 now looking at that scan.

Nah, keep going. I had the green/magenta Stumpjumper but it got stolen when I was couriering in London in 88. Loved that bike. Sniff. Got the white/purple Comp as a replacement.

In terms of decal measurements (off my Rockhopper mind, but I reckon the head, top and seat tube decal dimensions should be the same):

Height 78mm, Width 47mm

H96, W86

H94, W 235

H104, W235

I did these using a combo of tracing paper, scanner and my digital camera -a bit of image manipulation using Paint.net, then converted to vector format in inkscape. They're good enough for me and certainly look alright when they're nice and small on the PC, but don't look too close since they are certainly nowhere near exact. I've asked the decal meister himself if he can print me off a set.

PS. No prizes for spotting the non-standard decal.

Is it a desirable colour then? I have the frameset, brakes, cranks, rings, stem and bars somewhere, been meaning to clean 'em up for the 'Bay for ages.
