yes and the threads are split and naffed,i work as an engineer so could get em sorted and just wondered how the steerers were fitted in to see if i can fit another one
i would talk to a frame builder see if it is easy for him to heat and remove and replace.
i would talk to him about the possibility of myself cutting and carefully grinding the old stub of the
stearer out and checking with the off cut. see if this is going to save some cash.
the question is if using heat to remove the stearer can it be localised enough not to affect where the
fork legs enter the crown and have them loosen
how they get allignment of forks spot on i would find fascinating, they must use a jig ?
