So what about Scott?

Always have (and always will be a huuuuuuuge Scott fan) loved their early stuff with montana's, etc. and their foray into e-stays with the evolutions     I've got a Scott Pro build on the cards very soon - not the lightest frame on earth but bloody strong feeling.

Love the modern stuff too, one of the only manufacturers/brands for me that's managed to stand the test of time. Their carbon work is lovely and a few years ago I bought an alu road bike (Speedster S60) which is just awesme to ride........

Search the ----->97 section and you'll se a fair few Scott builds, there's a guy in Europe (poland I think  ) who is a bit of an authority on Scott's early stuff, so might be worth giving him a shout ;)

I have a scott scale 70 08 which I love.

Just looks different well I think so anyway .

Cant bear to get it dirty though

COOL BEANS

I have always like them, although up until recent days, had Never seen one, use to drool over them in the catalogues in the store in the early 90's... jsut as something nice, but different...
always wanted an endorphin, yum.

I guess they were a more euro brand, not much down here and you didn't hear anything out of the states (I did have soem Scott USA gloves, dunno if its the same peopel though).

Didn't hear anything out of them from the late 90's till the mid 2000's with FS bikes, then all of a sudden they went Huge with the carbon scale, to the point now that they are mega popular and you can't move without seeing one. So good work by them.
My GF has a scale 40 that she loves, seems pretty good bike, good spec and doesn't cost heaps.
