I'm not a big poster but am going to offer my opinion on this one...
Given your quite obvious dislike for most things On-One Dr.S, the fact that the Chance-a-Like is now in your possesion is really quite amusing and I'm sure whatever you decide to do with it will be followed with interest by us lot on here, but I would actually go for build it. It's now a unique frame with a story to tell (and if it turns out that it rides like a lame camel on ice then perhaps a Top Gear style end would be appropriate ).
Incidentally though, I don't think On One bikes are shit and can't help but feel that "in my opinion" should be attached to your statement. Sure they're not the best out there by any stretch of the imagination but certainly no worse designed or built than many frames costing double the price. Mine works great for me so I might be a little biased, but you can't ignore that they're value for money and any bike that people can win races on can't be all that bad..? At least they saw fit in the end not to put the Chancer into production.
BTW, although it isn't an old frame, it was designed and manufactured in present times to be like one - so is this not the very definition of an actual retro-bike?? Discuss..(again.. )
