Like the Yeti too, find it very cool in weird sort of way, keep thinking of getting one next.

The only thing that puts us off is the lack of real 4x4 performance, but this would be a replacement for an S-Max which is totally feckless on anything but tarmac. They are facelifting the Yeti, so should be plenty of near new low miles trade ins knocking about. Fancying a petrol TSI, the 1.8 we just had a burn in was nippy enough.

currently have an Octy with the 1.8TSI in it.

I like the car, and the engine is the best bit

No issues so far, not bad MPG and nippy enough. Grunty low down, but also smooth and quite. Good lump. Only downside is it quite like a drink of oil, but this might get better with miles
