Sizing question

Hi guys.

Just dipping my toe in this road/ Cycle cross riding thing at the moment and was wondering about frame sizing.

I'm 6'5" with long arms and a 36" inside leg weighing in at 18.5st :roll:
Mountain bike sizes are around the 20-21.5" with a top tube of roughly 23"

Now looking at Road/CC frames this would put me in the 50-60cm range of frame sizes.

Would it be correct for me to be looking at a 60cm frame or do you tend to go bigger for road/cc

I'd say probably bigger, the main thing to look for I've found is the top tube length.
Old bikes can be 65cm seat tube with a 58 top tube, a newer frame would have a 60cm or less seat tube for the same top tube. They all vary though.
I found the van nicholas size calculator useful to find out what top tube + stem i'd need
