Sizing question - Specialized HardRock 1993

Hi all

I am debating buying a ‘93 Specialized HardRock with an 18” frame. Just a little concerned that it might be too small - I am 6’ tall with approx 33” inside leg. Anyone have any experience (bitter or otherwise) with something similar?

You might find that a little small. Of course, you can get a longer seat post but that's not the only issue: the top tube length is relatively short on the HardRock anyway, so you're probably going to find it cramped. 20" would suit you better.

My personal opinion: I like the old mtb frames in smaller sizes. You can whip and zip them around. Many moons ago my sister had a 15” yellow cadex, absolutely my favorite bike ever. My personal bikes were 17” frames.

Yeah, I'd push the saddle back, longer stem, and wider bars and it should fit you fine.
