Site Suggestions (and Issues) Thread

Since the slide over adds (which for me seem to appear randomly even when logged on but didn’t actually bother me too much) I’m no longer able to view pages on my phone in landscape mode, only portrait. Which is a bit more of a pain as I struggle to read it like that.
I’m guessing I’m not the only old cogger with crap eye sight.

Earlier today I hit the 'block push notifications' tab as it kept cropping-up, thinking I wouldn't miss it

Some hours later, I go back into 'my preferences' page & try to change it back - to "re-enable it"

Trouble is now, it won't LET ME reverse it, even if I wanted to, no-matter how hard I try to reverse it.

It's all gone "greyed-out", like the option to change it is no-longer there. (like it's just a one-shot-wonder-option)

Admin' only (to change it) & will it affect ALL other (internal) notifications anyhow ?

Could be your browser. In chrome settings and similar, go to site settings - notifications and remove it from the blocked.

Am using Firefox mostly (with 'Opera' as a back-up)

Have noticed that Firefox & Google maps are like Priests & Orgygoers - Tech NOT compatible.

But then you know what some priests & church-ministers are like...... (Jimmy Swaggart anyone?)

Am out down the Pub shortly (sans bike, alas) - will look into this more over the next few days.

Reduced tag a nice idea - added. Obviously expectation is people use it sensibly at not like a well known furniture brand with outlets throughout the Midlands.

Slide ads are removed from the bulk of the forum. If someone notes one somewhere awkward please advise.

Not sure about the notifications, think that is a browser level discussion.

Signatures....
I've just tried to edit my signature for the first time since the site transfer, and I can't seem to add new thread links anymore.
Has the process changed?
I've tried to following the examples set by the threads already linked in my sig but it isn't working.
Previously I'd copy and paste the thread address, add the URL wotsits, alter text colours etc, but now the thread address doesn't seem to be the same as it was before (no 'viewtopic/xyz'....etc in the address), and nowhere to select text colours. Any help much appreciated.

You should see something like

If it is all link and tag code, then you need to click on that [] in the drop down I've shown.
The toolbar comes back again.
