I guess it's all down to how it's been described. Certainly plenty of patina...

At least with these marks it's classed as a "rider" and you can add your own to the bikes history then. Hopefully the seller will give you some money back? I'd sleep on it (if you can sleep?!) and have another look tomorrow in daylight.

Other option is bring it around my garage and vs. all my bikes you'll think it's flawless!!!

Size 20 so a Klein medium.
From the serial number it was the 6th frame built in January 1995.

Early 95 model so pre the Trek purchase.

Has the 2” downtube and Strata fork so feels like I’ve ticked most of the Klein boxes?

I know it’s an MC2 and not an MC1 so maybe I haven’t ticked ALL the Klein boxes, but finding this one was hard enough

But I’m a Klein virgin so I am always happy to learn more

OK ... if you have some immaculate builds, how about a 'just off the trail' build ... patina ....

Precedent....the Bullitt 'second' Mustang...quintessential patina...you'd be crazy to change it....
