I started riding trials in 1989 - got my first "real" 20" trials bike in 1990 - a GT Ricochet, followed by more bikes than I care to admit - But I'll try to list them, as well as a brief history of my riding in this post - if anyone cares - some pics, too!
Second bike was an Ibis Trials Comp
I then started riding stock (26') bikes to fulfill some contractual obligations, but also started riding second-generation20" bikes with a GT Team Trials and Monty 221, and Monty 231 by 1997:
I also started riding a Heavy Tools trials 20" bike, which I reviewed for Dirt Rag - I'll try to find and scan the article.
Soon afterwards, around 1998, I started riding for the Norco Factory Trials team, aboard various generations of Norco Team 853 Trials and Ti trials:
I even got the opportunity to head the design and production of a line of stock trials bikes while I worked at Norco - The Evolve was my pet project.
Since moving to the USA, (and enjoying my 40's) I have stopped riding competitions, and focus just on having fun and keeping my skills sharp until my 5-year-old is big enough for his own hopper!
It doesn't stop me from collecting vintage trials bikes, though!
