Thanks, I’ve owned it since new and always stored indoors. All original except the tyres.beautiful, looks like you just got it new from the bicycle store.
And this one is mine, this bear valley SE started my passion. Fear not, the wheels are gone, but hé, little did I know.
Since then, I've been busy collecting, refurbishing and occasionally riding this mid-level stuff.

I always thought the Eldridge Grade used to be the top steel bike, Indian Fire trail was the aluminium top bike - but the team bikes were on top of them all .I think it's good to aim a bit higher every time you clear out your shed and made a bit more room and money.
I've spotted a fairly large Marin Eldridge Grade 1994 in which I've shown interest.
By the looks of it, it is in a decent condition (with, according the brochure, the 2 red/pink-ish bottle cages still in place).
Can any of you experts tell me what's this bike's position in the line-up was?
Scrolling through the brochure you first find the lower-end's, gradually moving up to a titanium FRS .... and then some more (Eldridge Grade, Rocky Ridge, Pine mountain, Indian Fire Trail and two çream-of-the-crops' Team versions.
I'm confused?
Thanks for the info.
With just one exception for 1995, where a team issue was not on offer, that year. Team marin was 1995 top o the line.Team issue top steel up until 2000 and then one model in 2009
