I continue to work on him. There are some for sale every now and then, but the asking prices range from €1,100-2,800...lovely!! Am on the lookout for one of these, but rarely seen in the UK (by me anyway!)

Yes, that top one has been on eBay for about a year I think. There was another that was on for ages too, in the UK, for about £800...
I just saw one in the classifieds for 600€, that's more realistic I believe.
I’ve just picked up this Pacer from marketplace, looks fairly original but has no tubing sticker having read the thread and looking at the catalogues that were linked to I think it must be a 88/89 model so presumably will be exo quad butted tubing?
I need to try and remove the hideous sprung seat post, it turns but doesn’t want to pull out yet, think it’s going to need to be stuck in the vice - any one know what size post should be in there?

In addition to my post in this thread from a few weeks back is a new Kuwahara frame. This time a beautiful to me Apollo rebranded mixte. It has the exact same sticker as my other two rebranded Kuwahara's being "Kuwahara Osaka Japan". It has the same stamp Made in Japan and Tange fork as my other frames, under the seat post cluster the frame is stamped 012 Hi Tension Tubes and Forks which is presumably a low end Tange tubing although i've had a little difficulty substantiating that as it appears to only be on rebranded Kuwahara's, fascinating none the less.
Despite my other frames being of technically a higher quality steel, this one still has a lot of charm and is of comparatively decent quality compared to many other mixtes. It's just so difficult to find a high quality yet reasonably priced steel ladies frame, doubly so being in Australia, I'm sure in the UK it would be difficult to walk down the street without tripping over a Miss Mercian, Jacqueline Taylor or a Gretchins with some curvy necklace-stays.
It's pretty rough around the edges so will require a full respray and reno but I'm building it up for a friend so it should be back on the road soon, i'll be sure to post again with some build photos upon completion!

That's cool, It's a nice looking frame design and those lugs are lovely. Have you any idea on the age? What are you plans for it?

It will be for a friend so won't dramatically differ from how it originally was, I had offered her an old Gary Fisher frame but she prefers a more classic look so we went with a Mixte. I'm mostly just going to upgrade all the parts to newer, lighter parts without going full carbon 12 speed on an old Colnago Master, considering the standard and age of the parts originally on here, pretty much anything constitutes as 'newer and lighter'. I'm still deliberating on the specifics.
