I couldn't find a thread for early 700C off road frames, so I created one. Let me know if I missed it.

I'll start us off with the one I have: My unusual 1993 700C steel Sbike.

At some point after the frame was first built the rear brake mounts were moved up the seat stays. Forks were built for 700c which leads me to believe that this was a custom conversion done to order at the shop. It's a very clean job but you can just see the traces of the original mount points. Frame geometry matches exactly with several other 18'' Pioneers I've compared it to.

Yeah it looks a decent conversion from the picture. That’s why I asked as you can’t see it.
