I do recall Clubby suggesting a second visit to his turf for another gravel run. He does have the advantage of being reasonably central for much of us travelling to a meet.
If your listening Clubby another gravel meet would be good
And it turns out I have a heap of 20" tubes in case anyone gets a puncture... :)

Re:

Funnily enough I reckon my Bickerton could be made gravel ready and my Dahon Classic already is and it has 16" wheels. Have done gravelesque stuff on a Brompton in past as well :-)

Re:

Sorry to hear about your issues Velo. I hope the clouds eventually lift.

I would be up for a gravel ride depending on my shifts as usual

I have a gravel 20" bike....

Why am I not surprised?

How does late September/ early October suit folks for then next ride then?
Last time we had everything from tourers to rigid Oranges and tyres from 28c to 2”. Pretty much whatever you ride, it will be the right bike for at least part of the ride.

Re:

Suits me and the wee wheelers are just for a laugh. Gravel will be done on a big wheeler of at least 26".

Looking forward to it :D

Keep the head up Velo and get outside, that’s what helps me when things are shite at work etc.

Thinking my breezer could double as a gravel bike, currently got slicks on it for commuting but have old wtb velociraptors in hut that I could swap over, not sure what would be best but depending on terrain I suppose.

It would do absolutely fine. Jamie got round on 2" slicks. Tracks we're using are more about volume than tread. Neither tyre would be perfect for everything anyway, it's about the best compromise.

We'll miss you Epicyclo, but there's always next year.
