It was relatively cheap and my size. I bought it to see what what all the crack was about these big wheels and tbh if i had to drastically cull the bike pool this would be one of, if not the last to go.
It's invincible and will still be going strong long after i've gone and it's simplicity defined. Perfect tool for winter riding in our claggy Wiltshire mud.
It's never however totally got over MrK calling it a clowns bike at SITS08 though!!

Wanted to try out 29er and didn't want to break my bank so I picked a popular one that's got good reviews. Turned out to be a good fit. Bike handles very well and the retro look is a bonus too.

Here's my Singular Swift in SingleSpeed trim:

It was offered for sale as a used frameset for a good price so it was opportunity driven. And I realised I only needed to get brakes as the rest of the build I had one way or another. I did look it up too, and reviews on the ride and the company were good. I like the versatility in the format of the swift too, SS routing and EBB, but it has a gear hanger, and the option to fit suspension forks is provided by clever design too.

I picked it because I'm...

...this big.

The size the butting ( the MK I frame was way too heavy, this was much lighter ) and, to be honest, the pimpy metalflake brown colour was why I chose it.

Lynskey made a Ti Optimus for Vassago in 2008, a good looking one in my opinion. Just too expensive for me. In 2009, Lynskey or Vassago change the design, their Ridgeline is basically the same as Optimus, not so good looking anymore.
