Shoe spikes?

Where can one buy screw-in toe spikes for mtb shoes for ice? I've seen stubs, but not spikes.

I use Sidi MTB shoes and they have screw in toe spikes that are good for trudging uphill in slippery conditions, not sure about ice.

MBR magazine had a reader tip recently that showed using an M4 nut and stud. Cut the head off the stud and screw into the shoe using the bolt as a stop. I suppose you could sharpen the stud to a point if needed.

For spikes go to a sports shop and get cricket or golf spikes
