Hmmmm, excluding the bike:

- Not an invention, but discovering and creating "easy" methods to create fire has got to be up there
- The wheel
- Controlled animal breeding
- Penicillin
- The radio, or the means of communicating long distance
- Composing / "formal" music theory
- Cheese Moments

I was going to say Betamax but the cd is a much more bland and uninspiring object.
