You can get an adaptor for that model to use normal rings 94/58

sorry its the lx in the pic but as far as i can see theres little difference between the lx and the xt,the adaptor on the left, is i think the xtr one,but they all seem compatible

Where do you get the adapters from could do with one for my XTR M952 cranks as I've worn out the middle ring and can't find a replacement?

I got this one from another member and im guarding it well

But I think chain reaction has them from time to time,ive deffo seen one on there at some time :?
Or just keep your eyes open for one, on one of the big ebay sellers

The last outer ring i saw[right hand pic] sold for £5 on ebay a week ago.
They do pop up quite often
