Salsa El-Mariachi Titanium

I'm gonna hit 40 early in the new year and decided a nice present to myself was well deserved.

A Ti frame has always been on the wishlist so decided to pull the trigger on this.

Now I know I really should wait, but I've had the frame for a month already and I couldn't resist building it up once all the new parts were here. The wheels and cranks are off my Karate Monkey which will now be fitted with gears but everything else is new except for the trusty Flite.

Not a fan of bendy down tubes but I understand why they are there. But the paint job is fantastic on this.

Seems the part painted Ti is a bit marmite. Some folk are not so keen, but I'm with Tazio.

Salsa are doing the carbon and the steel firestarter fork in this colour (Bomb-pop blue) this year Dave. The Fargo 2 is the same colour, but the price of the carbon fork is breathtaking! The colour is not a perfect match. I guess maybe the base has something to do with it. But it'll do me, especially since they will probably never be this clean again.
