Sorry to be rude but I started posting before I saw this thread..anyway hi to all. I have been watching retro bike for some while and have been bodging bikes for nigh on 20 years. This practice now seems to retro!

At present I have an Alan Road bike( too small to ride but v pretty)
a Connondale hybrid (mountain bike frame Dura Ace road group and drops) a Merlin Malt and a Saracen Gabileir and...the Mt Tam mentioned in my post.

Im generally found scouring the tips and scrap yards of Oxfrodshire for retro goodies

Welcome! I have an Alan road bike which is the perfect size for me (ish). Mine has come a bit unglued though. Let's see some pictures of yours! It might inspire me to see if anything can be done with mine.
