Iirc Some of our old school bristolian customers, riding when these were new, referred to them as
the Fag Packet derailleur.

I cherish my browser search history, so instead, I used the words "cigarette pack derailleur". Two hits that somewhat make sense, a Shimano Lark 2 for sale ad


and a thread for a rebuild of a Marlboro branded Fuji folder. The ultimate cigarette derailleur is buried somewhere in there
