So, three overbury’s pioneers and a connoisseur road suitable? Just booked for the Friday Saturday Sunday camping is that the total admission charge?

pretty much, they have a show programme on the day thats usually about £2 that gets u free entry to the saddlebag sale

Yup booked and mrs longun and longuns youth will be camping too, although they'll probably spent alot of the days in York itself as they love it there.... me....all about the bicycle

Always meant to go to the York Rally when I was a regular rider with my local CTC group but never did so I'm coming to this one
Booked my 2 nights camping with the Retrobike area so now just need to fettle a bike or two.

I remember going to the York Rally years ago as a yoof. I didn’t really appreciate it at the time. I was into the new MTB craze, which was all about throwing the old rules out of the window. It was new, fresh, colourful.
Gang of us on MTB’s went there, and it was full of ‘roadies’. It felt like the opposite of the cool MTB scene: traditional, old, somewhat dull. Nothing like the fresh new scene we were reading about in MBUK… Plus none of the vendors were selling MTB kit.
I have a different view now and appreciate the event for what it is. I think it’s really impressive how it brings the cycling community together, has been going for so many years, and is run entirely by volunteers.
