J james309 Retro Newbie Sep 18, 2013 #4 It was bought as a Curtis. Only now it's arrived I've had my doubts ! I agree it looks to new for an early 80's bmx. Will the frame number give any ideas ? James

O oldschoolfool Retro Guru Oct 12, 2013 #6 those forks look ok though! you can tell a curtis made frame from the welds. curtis frames are brazed .you probarbly find yours is tig welded,or worse ,plain mig welded.
