Well, it would have been nice of him to mention the cracks.
In my mind they are "Significantly not as described".

Some of us have to put bar ends on our carbon bars, i have a similarly crushed set of EC 90's, except that mine are only crushed at one end and are not suffering from the UV/water induced lacquer lifting that yours are.
The implication from the dotted/bubbled lacquer is that the inside of the bar wasn't sealed against moisture, or the crack at the end has allowed it to ingress under flexure. Heat that sucker up in the sun and hey presto..
Basically it's ****. (Gash?)
However if you don't mind a little work, you can have mine.
One end has clamp damage similar to your but the rest of it is brand new. If you just want a bar to use without bar ends then all you need to do is fill one end with an epoxy balloon mix and let it set, then give the outer a touch of lacquer, I prefer ultravar to anything else if you can get it.
Yours for postage, she's a minter apart from that one end.

If not you could maybe drill the end of the crack and put a bung inside you don't need to shrink the bungs in as it is better to have a slight (.25mm-to.5mm) glue gap just to givea better bond. The glue cures at about 60 c but will go off at room temp if left for long enough

Mike it's a 560mm straitbar.
