Resto or Patina -- Which is best?

Be a shame to spoil a perfectly good bike...

...if you're that bothered about the chainstay, put a (period)Lizardskin protector on it ;)

I've just sold a frame like that

Beautiful geometry, beautiful colour.

Keep it. Use it. Ride it.

Gorgeous.

(the bike, not you. Well maybe, but I don't know you)

..erm - I'm outta here..............................

I had one almost identical, if a little earlier.

Stoppies are much easier on P2s than sussers.

FMJ:

You want patina on a guitar?

One words: Rory Gallagher.

JB playing.

Yup. He has sorted himself out lately. None of yer long hair and chubby stuff.

Playing better than ever too.

Couldn't find a Rory pic that showed the guitar that well. :)

patina all the way
repainting an old frame is like burning it's soul.
pull it apart, give everything a good clean, it will look a million bucks.

Both have a place on here but as you have put all the marks, dents and scratch's on it leave it alone it tells much about your time with the bike. Think if its a new frame to you then its a much easier decision because you have little emotional attachment to it.
