replacing steerer on rc31 possible/practical?

got some rc31 a while back but they came with a frame and bits and i didnt need them, so i didnt check them before putting them in storage. got them out this weekend and bad news.

back and front. they are nicks/cuts, not cracks, but no way im gonna risk them like that, and i assume none of you would?

is it practical, or even possible, to change the steerer or are they a write off? legs and crown appear sound. feels like a waste.

I was thinking they were like RC30, seems they are not.

It's difficult to judge from the pic where and how bad this is as it's such a close up shot there is no perspective.

Steerers can be replaced in theory, worth contacting pace or fork English about it. I've had one replaced on a Judy before so same operation, different fork.
