Removing rattle can paint

John there was a thread on mtbr that had a non drastic method, can't remember what it was though mind :roll: could have been something like car detailling clay or summat. Will try to find it.

Tricky, not damaging the paint underneath, but a suggestion might be find out what the chemical paint is that was painted on the frame by the manufacturers and also find out what the rattle can paint is. Then find a chemical that will attack only the rattle can paint.

Other than that, rubbing compound, I know it is laborious, but at least you have complete control of the paint removal.

Try Nail polish remover.

My girlfriends car had "poop" spraypainted on it. Nail polish remover did the trick without harming the finish.

acitone if you can get it, probley same stuff as nail polish remover. wear gloves though nasty stuff :?
