Only in the past few years have I used a rear view mirror and I cant think why I didnt use one before, it may just be that there is more choice and they are better than they used to be maybe ? Just wondering how many use one ?

Haven't had one on my bike since I was seven. Probably wouldn't again unless I lost neck mobility. I also lost the appetite for bike customisation when I was mugged for a favourite bike in London. I get on one, I ride, I come home. That's it. Most of my newer bikes, apart from possibly adding a dropper post, I change nothing on.

No, including when I was commuting in and out of London. Unnecessary and distracting. We have necks, there're really useful.

I see some value for folks who have hearing impairments but that's it.

How about on a motorcycle ? are they required ? if you think they are, what is the difference ?
