A bit more work on the ratwork tonight, had a rummage through some boxes and found some parts to start with.
Firstly a rusty headset which works so on that went. Found some working but really beat up Dia Compe SS5's and a working battered set of Deore thumbshifters all perfect for it.
Also came across a badly painted T Bone so that went on and some huge coda bar ends. There was a worn but working Deore DX front mech which will do the trick. And saying its a rat i stuck a rat on the headtube

I think you should sand it right back for a really faded slightly rusty patina look then put GT Zaskar stickers on it.

I showed this to my 11 year old and he said it looked 'Sick'....

Plus I think the rat on the head tube makes it look like a Banksy
