Welcome to RBotM March 2025 - Spring Classic - What are you riding this spring!

This month is part theme part anything goes. With Spring starting on the 20th March here in the north and the month for kicking off the spring classics, what I am thinking is what are you riding as we come out of the northern winter? Also for our southern hemisphere retroriders, what are you riding at this time of the year? It is regardless where you are from, about what you are riding. It could be anything, it could be getting the tourer sorted for the warmer months heading to the continent or it could be dusting off the Mapei Colnago ready for hitting the cobbles in the town centre pretending to be Johan Museeuw or it could be getting back into riding to work after a coming out of a cold winter or scorching flooded summer. Open to interpretation really, so, what are you riding?
Keep it retro, keep it short in description with a link to more information and take two photos. Very simple.

Taken as the bike recovers from 103km on Sunday, 1,554m of climbing. As for the engine, needs a complete rebuild
2000-ish (am I legal?) Eddy Merckx Strada OS steel frame. Mix of 9s Campag, from Record down to Mirage, Dura Ace headset as per, my favourite saddle and 23mm Vittoria tyres. Love this bike. My legs didn't love a 42x23 by the end though!

Never mind the gearing - that saddle to 'bar drop makes my neck hurt just looking at it!
Lovely bike though.

I won't lie, I did get off and walk around the last 30 metres to the top of that ramp before the last one

I just took the '97 Vittorio out of the attic last week, added Son lighting and already took it out for the first short spring rides. I hope to do many more this year. The second photo is from the last winter ride in december.

Last year I bought this Vitttorio Randonneur frameset in Reynolds 501. Initially I wanted to build it into a hybrid with some fat Smart Sam tyres. Last week I changed my mind. Wednesday I assembled it as a touring bicycle, its original purpose. I got this nice Kalloy Uno stem to bring the bars level to the saddle. The rear wheel has been shoved way into the semi horizontal dropouts for maximum chainstay length. All to make it a very comfortable ride. It certainly is a lot more laid back than what I usually ride, but I do see more of what goes by. Which is nice. All the parts I used are...
