Raleigh Reynolds 653 - Team Dyna-Tech - Any idea on value?

Retro Newbie
Found in dad's shed, thought to be ex-team frame as given/told to me by Raleigh team mechanic, but no proof.

Built recently with a Tiagra groupset, it's a good runner but too big for me :(

Welcome :) It's a bit after my time but doesn't look very Dyna Tech to me, I thought they were all bonded frames and that looks like a traditional lugged/brazed frame to me. Perhaps more pics would help.

Nice bit of rear chrome :)

As per what Midlife said, the dynatech frames were all bonded types.

Would be good to see more pics, the rear stays don't look very Raleigh but could just be the pics

Ah, thanks maca, couldn't put my finger on what was bugging me about the rear triangle aside from the chrome, Raleigh stays would have joined at the seat bolt not under...?

Re:

Yeah, at the bolt or the side of it.
This looks more like a Peugeot set up.

Re:

Front forks and pump peg look Peugeot also.

Be good to see the frame number.

Re:

Flip the bike over and have a good look at the underside of the bottom bracket casting, the frame number(s) should be there and could give a clue.

Re:

If it is an ex-team frame then it's quite possibly built by the rider's favourite builder and then painted to look like a real dynatech. I can't imagine anyone would get a steel frame repainted as a dynatech team replica, complete with decals, for any other reason?
