Thanks guys - this will be an all Euro Build (bar the already fitted custom M900 headset - and the Phil Wood BB I’m looking for)


I know what to look for but whether I will be able to or not I don’t know:

Cantis - Icarus, Record OR or Sachs New Success - waiting for some pics from RBer!!!

Levers - ??? No idea yet but decided against Chicken Stix - got to be Euro - so Extralite? No idea - any idea for some sweet looking levers?

Cranks - leaving the gold chain ring but polishing the rest with autosol
Shifters - Sachs Extreme en Route with grey shifter grips.

So watch this space!

Sachs 8 speed Power Grip Extreme.
Awaiting the new grey grip covers to replace the black ones

Right - put some tyres in - had a cheap New pair of Continentals While I seek the NOS amber wall ones.
gave her a quick wax
And put some components on
Changed the Sachs Powergrip Extreme grips to the NOS grey.
Put the Campagnolo Centaur Compact graphite levers on - they are sweet!
And popped on the Campag Record OR cantis to see how they look
They’re like jewels! But I’ve no idea how to install them properly - DuckDuckGo is my friend here.

Was having a lot of difficulty polishing off the 3dv anodising off the Middleburn Spider - two of the tiny hex bolts have lost all threading so can’t remove it from the crank arm.
Have more work to do with it tomorrow - then to polish with autosol.

Finally a bottom bracket and the cables

Couple of changes
Scrapping the Middleburn - bought some minty graphite Campagnolo Euclid cranks
And I’ve a Sachs PC91 chain.
