Raleigh Dynatech Decade

Re: Raleigh Dynatech Decade - (Campagnolo and Sachs New Success)

Right
Put her together - need a bottom bracket
Put on the Sachs PC91 chain plus the Campagnolo Euclid graphite cranks
(They match the Campag graphite brake levers)
The tyres are temporary - I ordered some NOS Wolber amber wall MTB tyres and await delivery.
What do you think?

Re: Raleigh Dynatech Decade - (Campagnolo and Sachs New Success)

The shifter Cover is a Sachs Wavey - I’ve the same grey Sachs power grip extreme Which I’ll put on once (Campag) black cabling arrives
And here are the tyres:

Thank you for the comments! It’s encouraging
Its Very light - feels as light as my Former MT4 felt - if not lighter. I’d say around 22 lbs but I haven’t weighed it yet.
I could’ve shed a lot of weight from it with lighter rims, tyres, cranks and mechs - but as it is I’m very impressed - I’ll find out when I weigh and then ride it

Re: Raleigh Dynatech Decade - (Campagnolo and Sachs New Success)

It’ll be a 99% Euro build - nothing I can do about the M900 headset though - as it’s a custom job and a pain to fit - I would’ve preferred the Mavic 316 on it but doesn’t matter.

Re:

Nice build! - Glad you got the bottom bracket issues sorted.

Like the choice of spec - personally, I prefer the Amberwall look but it still works on the blackwalls.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks mate - I prefer the amber wall - they’re in period Wolber too- the thick black tyres makes it look like a modern Skinny steel 29er with an odd front end.

My question is - Bar ends or no bar ends? Are there any euro made bar ends from the early 90ies apart from XLite?
