Raleigh Cyclone rescue

Just finished this Raleigh cyclone. I bought it for £40 a few years ago for my mate so he could get back from the pub . He has now upgraded his ride to something more modern and was going to scrap the Raleigh so I decided to save it. It’s been left outside over this winter so it needed a good clean and tidy up . I have been gifted some some bars and brake levers , I purchased off Amazon a gel seat and new grips and got some skin wall city’s jets off eBay . I’m going to leave at our friends house who has a bar / pub he had built in the garden and it will be able to transport anyone in need back home after a night

Just picked on of these up....Paint work has a few chips and handle bars are a little rusty...Would love some pointers or tips to parts etc you used.

I tried to do this for a as little money as I could .I sanded and painted the rusty bits Matt black . The bars were specialized bars with shimano levers . The grips were just a cheap £4 things .
City jets were the most expensive but I removed them for another project and stuck some old used continentals on .
