Right, so bit of an update.

I had some time to dismantle, clean and reassemble the bike.

I decided to go single speed but kept all the kit so I can put it bake to standard at anytime.

The paint though...whoa really came up nice.

Beyond backcombing our hair and adjusting that single earring, that is.

Looks good - how wide are those tyres?

This are 28c I had 32c on there before which cleared the front with brake, but the rears where too close to the chain stays, so went down to 28c.

Loads of clearance, I think you'll be able to get with a set of 30c
