This place & its members are cracking and I want to give something back.

I would like to do something a little different, unsure if this fits the rules and what have you, unsure if anyone even wants this frame ! I’m sure I will be told..

I have a 17.5” Raleigh Dyna Tech MTB Frame, it provokes more questions than answers but this is what I know.

I acquired this frame earlier this year from a very good friend. At the time after some digging he told me that the frame was a race / test bike by Raleigh SPD (Special Products Division) and came with a few other unique parts to back this up.

After some debate (on here) I have assumed it’s a test MTB frame in Raleigh’s lightest steel tubing, built in the early 90’s by either the R&D department @ Raleigh or it was commissioned by a team rider? Who knows for sure? One thing it is a nice frame in a nice colour (original I believe) & pretty light.

I would like to raffle this one off as a prize to a Retro Bike member. (I would love to see this built up and running)
To aquire a number send me the epic sum of £1 – gift payment to rcmodz(at)aol.com – Numbers will ordered by payment.
I would then like to donate 50% to Retro Bike.

How does that sound guys?

Intriguing... count me in! Paypal quid incoming.

If the topic gets locked after one entry do I win...? :D :D :D

perhaps 50% should go to charity rather than retrobike perhaps, hope for heroes maybe, just a suggestion you know

Cracking Idea,

Cracking Idea, hopefully you'll have a healthy up take,

1 x quid winging its way north.

Love it... will spot you one English Pound. (Don't worry, I've got a UK address to send it to if I was lucky enough!!).

Might not contravene the Gaming act 2005.

The information form the gambling commission website can be found here:

http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/

Maybe worthwhile getting John to send a question to the gambling commission and asking the question though, a lot of it is about interpretation of the specific legislation.

Either way, put me down for a £1 ticket. Got to be worth a punt surely!

Either way I'm in. If its against the law then just pass my quid onto the charity

Its good of you to do this either way, top fella!!!
