Hi Ed,

Didn't see this before now. Good to see that my old rear mech is being put to good use. It is the first series veloce, in case you wanted to update the description. Not sure about the year, but would guess 92/93.
Lovely bike, and really like the colour. Hope you'll have loads of fun with it.

Dia-Compe X-1 canti brakes (anybody ever seen another set?).

I have 3 pairs of these. Got some fitted to the Audax bike, cracking cantis. I also have the fluro "buttons" that they came with that press in to the head of the allen key bolts in pink or green. Happy to donate a set if yours had them back in the day, it's the little touches that make all the difference.

I must admit mine didn't have the fluoro widgets - but they sound good
