Is there any rhyme or reason to the serial, aside from the mystery "J"? Does the rest of it denote anything in particular?

And what about the 20 15? Any ideas about that?

I'm still on the case. 92 teams had a 27.0mm seatpost, and number 1 after first Letter(s). Yet another oddity that makes a mockery of other years. Still genuine though.
Yours is a team issue that's a model still under study.
What sestpost size have you got there?

My 1996 Team Issue has 27.0 seat post. Not the mos common. In that era 26.8 was the most common and them arrives 27.2. My first 27.0 seat post.

Just want to add.

1992 team, uk anyway has full pannier rack/mud guard mount, near to after burners decal where team issue just had the axle dropout ones maybe to save 10 grams for the race. Easily missed.
