we canucks have to contend with both metric and imperial measurements. we are officially metric but because we are such good neighbors with the US there use of imperial measurements as well. :roll:

I use M12 studding as it fits inside the 1/2" ( ) drive for the sockets which press on the cups.

M16 (5/8") must like like a Frankenstein neck bolt in size.. :shock:

In a variation on the sash cramp idea, I used one of these last time with great success. Softwood packers between the clamp and the headset parts of course.
