Came in a out 7 or 8 days.
Quicker then they're shifting UK mail around.and for less than the P&P for each item over here, bike and electrical bits.
Only one item still outstanding.

Hindsight is a great thing. I didn't see this one coming this time.dyna-ti":1s8qfwp7 said:Normally at this time of the year the post office, and all the other mail and courier services would take on hundreds to thousands of extra staff. The PO alone takes on about 30 thousand.
This year and due to this virus, that hasn't happened and worse is that many of their regular staff are either off ill or are in isolation.
This won't only be limited to UK firms but to the majority of European, and in other parts of the world.
Take the NHS. They've currently got 30,000 staff of sick or in isolation. Hard to run those operations with staffing levels such as they are.
Perhaps it would have been prudent not to go off buying this and that from far outwith the UK :?

It's a time for coming together, not a time for division.
We are all entitled to our own views, this is what makes each of us unique! Hell if we all thought the same how rubbish would that be? Hive mind mentality.
I didn't intend to start this kind of thread, was just airing frustrations and letting those who are waiting on or who have sent items out know that this was the situation.

Until the new virus strain is understood, the current restrictions are sensible. The same postal restrictions were also implemented earlier this year for a period.
Anywya, seems as if I wont be buying anything from abroad for the time being. I was hoping to get hold of a few parts from Italy - but so much for that.
