So… I just had to Google to find out how to fit a Sram cassette!

That’s what happens when you’ve only ever used Shimano!

Anyway, the old tan wall tyres are off, the silver valves swapped for black and the Dirt Wizards are on!
They went straight up with a track pump no bother at all too which was a wee treat as I’d been putting it off expecting sealant to go everywhere!

I really like this frame fork combo. I know i've said that already, but haven't seen many moxies in silver, nor 2023 lyriks in that colour in the flesh

A nice wee bonus of running the wireless transmission is that I can get rid of these horrible looking hose clips



as I won’t need a cable, and I can just use a wee ti bolt instead, which looks much neater.

This lovely little thing just arrived in the post, a DWard Design ti stem cap.

I’ve got one of his ti seat clamps coming in 34.9 so thought this would ‘ti’ in nicely.

Frame is beautifully finished, very high gloss and the shade of silver is just lovely!
The metal head badge is class too… I’m chuffed to bits with it!

I worked on a few of these last year (paintwork process) wondering if and hoping it is one of them!

Not seeing a ‘J.M.’ anywhere though….
So, are they painted in the UK, I just presumed they were completed in Taiwan?

Popped it up on its wheels… aye it sure is long and low!

Looks even lower than it should as back tyre is almost flat… sealant hasn’t arrived yet!

That’s the BB arrived, hopefully the outstanding parts (including the replacement headset ) will arrive this week.

Not fitting a dropper? I mean, no, it's not the law. But on a bike that long, slack and low? You planning on just stopping to put the seat down all the time?
