Pinnacle iroko 4 info please

Just bought a frame which I plan to build with 11sp xt (my first foray into 11sp).

Frame is really nice, has an open down tube at the bb end, is this normal or should there be a plug for it to stop crud getting in there?

Any other info about the frame gratefully received. Read many great online reviews, just after some rb experience and also what works stem and fork wise.

Cheers, read that and drew same conclusion. I probably don't need one which is a bonus as finding one seems challenging.
